How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You will work closely with operational management, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure full compliance and a proactive safety culture throughout the scheme.

    This position offers the opportunity to become part of a long-term project with a clearly defined progression route into senior safety management positions as the business continues to grow across the UK.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances

    * Deliver toolbox talks and site safety briefings

    * Promote a positive and proactive health & safety culture on site

    * Liaise with subcontractors and ensure compliance with statutory regulations

    * Monitor and report on HSE performance across the project

    * Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and client standards

    Requirements

    * Previous experience within construction, M&E or major project environments

    * NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential)

    * Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation

    * Experience working on large-scale or technically complex projects preferred

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    * Proactive and professional approach to site safety

    What’s On Offer

    * Market-leading salary and package

    * Long-term secured work on a high-profile MoD development

    * Excellent career progression opportunities from day one

    * Opportunity to work with a globally recognised contractor

    * Strong project pipeline across the UK

    * Collaborative and highly professional working environment

    * Ongoing training and professional development support

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety professional looking to join a forward-thinking contractor delivering some of the UK’s most prestigious projects.
