How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    A supportive Permanent Pupil Referral Unit in High Wycombe is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRU PSHE Teacher to support students who require a more tailored and structured approach to education. This PRU PSHE Teacher opportunity in High Wycombe is ideal for educators who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve both academically and personally.

    You will play a vital role in supporting students in High Wycombe both academically and emotionally, helping them re-engage with learning, develop confidence, and build essential life skills within a supportive environment.

    As a PRU PSHE Teacher in High Wycombe, you will:

    Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons tailored to students' individual needs

    Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural development

    Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils

    Manage behaviour effectively using a calm and consistent approach

    Encourage student engagement, confidence, and personal growth

    The ideal candidate will have:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience

    Experience working within alternative provision, SEN, or specialist educational settings

    Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

    A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching

    A genuine passion for supporting young people who may face barriers to education and learning
