Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting multiple Learning Support Assistants for exciting full-time, permanent opportunities within a Further Education College starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a vibrant and diverse college environment, supporting students across a range of subjects and specialist departments. The college offers a variety of unique and niche courses, meaning no two days are ever the same. From practical and vocational learning to creative and academic subjects, you will have the opportunity to support students in a truly varied setting.

The successful candidates will support learners with a range of additional needs including SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, anxiety and communication difficulties. You will work closely with teaching staff and wider support teams to help students access learning, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.

The college is looking for compassionate, adaptable and proactive individuals who are passionate about supporting young people within education. Previous experience within schools, colleges, care, youth work, support work or similar settings would be highly beneficial.

The ideal candidate will:

Be confident supporting students on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
Be calm, patient and resilient when supporting learners with additional needs
Work well as part of a wider support team
Be passionate about making a positive difference to young people's education and wellbeingThese positions are full-time and permanent for the right candidates from September.
