How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mechanical Design Engineer

    £42,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Hybrid + Benefits

    Bromsgrove (Commutable from: Worcester, Birmingham, Worcestershire, Bewdley, Redditch, Kidderminster, Evesham, Cheltenham)

    Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work for a nationally-renowned manufacturer offering specialist training where you will support R&D, Conceptualisation and Continuous Improvement?

    On offer is a great opportunity to increase your technical abilities, receive a clear development plan and work within a close-knit and experienced Design / Manufacturing team.

    This highly successful and specialist business supply a range of Instrumentation. The role is due to continued growth and secure of large scale contracts.

    This is a Monday - Friday days based role within a well-equipped Design office. You will be responsible for product development, bespoke conceptualisation and overarching designs for innovative machinery.

    This role would suit a Design Engineer from a Mechanical background wanting to become a go-to technical expert within a prevalent and highly successful industry.

    The role:

    Full process of Conceptualisation, Design, Manufacturer.
    Instrumentation, Pumps, Water systems.
    Monday - Friday office based role.
    The person:

    Design / CAD/ Draughtsperson
    Manufacturing / Mechanical or Instrumentation background.
    Commutable to Bromsgrove.
