How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Lead O&M Engineer (Training on Solar and Progression to Management)

    Norwich - Field-Based Across East Anglia

    £40,000-£50,000 + Progression to Management + Training on Commercial Solar PV + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card + Progression + Pension

    Are you an ambitious commercial electrician looking step up into a role where you will head up a new business unit within a company where you will have the opportunity to progress off the tools and grow that unit?

    Do you have good electrical fault-finding experience and want to be a part of the exciting and growing renewable energy sector at a company who will provide full training opportunities on commercial solar as well as management?

    This company are specialists in the instalment of commercial renewable energy products such as solar PV and battery storage. Due to continued success and an ongoing programme of growth, they are now looking to expand their service offering and setup a new O&M department that this person will lead.

    In this role, the successful candidate will lead a new O&M business unit for the company for commercial solar systems where they will have the opportunity to progress and grow the unit. Full training on solar will be provided. This will be a mix of office and site work eventually progressing fully off the tools.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial electrician with good fault-finding experience looking to progress their career towards management within the growing renewable energy sector at a company who will provide full training and support.

    The Role:

    * Lead the company's new O&M department
    * Full training on commercial solar PV provided
    * Progression to management available
    * Mix of office and site based work
    * Van, pension and holiday days provided

    The Person:

    * Ambitious Commercial Electrician looking to progress towards management
    * Good fault-finding experience
    * NVQ Level 3, 18th edition and 2391 Test & Inspection
    * Full UK driving license
    * Happy to cover East Anglia
