Apex Educ8 is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and welcoming school in NW2, London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives while gaining valuable experience within education.
The school is looking for a strong role model who can support students both academically and emotionally, helping them overcome barriers to learning and positively engage within the school environment.
The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural and emotional needs
* Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
* Support students with emotional regulation, confidence, and engagement
* Help manage challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
* Work closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral staff
* Encourage students to stay focused, motivated, and on task
* Create a safe, calm, and supportive environment for learning

* SEMH Support
* Psychology Graduates

The Ideal Candidate:
* Confident working with young people
* Calm, resilient, and patient under pressure
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Passionate about supporting students who may need additional guidance
* Able to build rapport quickly and act as a positive role model
* Arabic speaking is a bonus due to the school’s high cohort of EAL students
