This role is available on either a temp-to-perm basis paying £15.00-£18.00 per hour initially, or as a permanent position offering a salary of up to £42,000 including shift allowance, depending on experience.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machine shop equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring quality, efficiency, and production targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate machine shop equipment
Resolve tooling and machine set-up issues as required
Carry out autonomous machine maintenance
Maintain department 5S standards and quality requirements
Support other operators and departments when needed
Work in line with company quality standards and procedures
Skills & Experience Required
Previous machining or machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of cnc machinery controls would be advantageous
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible approach with willingness to support overtime requirements when needed
Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Commitment to maintaining high quality standards

Pay
