How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    EYFS Teacher - Preston (Open to ECTs)

    Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years teacher ready to inspire young learners at the very start of their educational journey? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Grimsby.

    This is a full-time, long-term position starting in May 2026, and the school is open to applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced practitioners.

    The Role

    As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping children's early learning experiences, creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

    Location: Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire

    Start Date: May 2026

    Position: EYFS Teacher

    Contract: Full-time, long-term

    Pay: Competitive daily rates (with potential for pay to scale)

    Key Responsibilities

    Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.

    Supporting children's development across all areas of learning, including communication, social skills, and early literacy/numeracy.

    Creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

    Observing, assessing, and tracking pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations.

    Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.

    Contributing to the wider school community and EYFS provision.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you must:

    Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

    Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.

    Demonstrate a nurturing and child-centred approach to teaching.

    Have excellent communication and classroom management skills.

    Be committed, enthusiastic, and reflective in your practice.

    Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

    Provide professional references and have the legal right to work in the UK.
