How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for a Junior Electronics Engineer to join their technical team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone at an early stage in their engineering career to develop their skills within a supportive environment. The role focuses on product data management, technical support, and working with electronic components, offering great exposure across engineering and operations.

    Junior Electronics Engineer Responsibilities

    * Create and maintain part numbers and product records within the MRP system

    * Support the setup and testing of Bill of Materials (BOMs) before production

    * Assist with technical queries from customers and internal teams

    * Review technical drawings and help identify suitable components and suppliers

    * Keep product and supplier data accurate and up to date

    * Maintain a library of datasheets, drawings, and technical documentation

    * Support product inspections and quality checks when required

    * Ensure all engineering data is accurately recorded and accessible

    What We’re Looking For

    * Basic understanding of electronic or electrical components

    * Some experience or exposure to MRP/ERP systems (or willingness to learn)

    * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

    * Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work

    * Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

    * Well-organised with the ability to manage workload effectively
