How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior HSE Advisor
    Data Centres
    Dublin
    Permanent Opportunity

    Our client, a dedicated data centre delivery partner, is seeking a HSE Advisor to join their site-based team in Dublin, Ireland. This permanent role involves supporting the health, safety, and environmental aspects of data centre construction projects, ensuring compliance with statutory provisions and client policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Support the Project Management team and Site EHS Manager and Lead
    Adhere to the project and Safety Management system
    Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions and legislation
    Review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Safe Plans of Action, and Permits to Work
    Conduct regular site audits and inspections, documenting results and following up on corrective actions
    Carry out ongoing C.O.S.H.H. assessments and control hazardous substances
    Ensure safety interventions are completed and recorded
    Maintain records of statutory inspections for project activities, tools, and plants
    Manage and maintain good safety practices and site welfare & hygiene facilities
    Compile and conduct Toolbox Talks as necessary
    Assist in, or carry out, accident investigation reports and ensure timely communication to Project Management
    Maintain waste reduction and recycling programmes in line with project policies and procedures

    Job Requirements:

    Relevant third-level degree qualification in Health & Safety
    Experience on large construction sites
    Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health, and safety legislation
    Flexibility in working patterns where necessary
    Ability to manage all environmental, health, and safety issues on-site efficiently
    Strong communication and computer skills
