This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong mechanical fitting or vehicle assembly background who enjoys working from drawings, solving problems, and being part of a high-quality manufacturing environment.

What will you be doing as a Final Assembly Fitters?
* Assembling and fitting military vehicles and mechanical components
* Working from engineering drawings and work instructions
* Using hand and power tools to complete final assembly tasks
* Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
* Supporting testing and problem-solving during the build process
* Working safely and following manufacturing procedures at all times
* Collaborating with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines
What will you need?
* Previous experience in vehicle assembly, mechanical fitting, or HGV fitting
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or similar discipline
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Previous manufacturing experience
* Any experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is beneficial
