Estimator

This is a remote position.

This role will be based on a hybrid working arrangement from Sheffield.

What you would do as our Estimator

As Estimator, you will be responsible for maintaining effective estimating procedures, ensuring quotations are accurately prepared and submitted within agreed timescales to tendering contractors. You will work closely with the Business Development Managers to provide support in maximising sales opportunities and securing quotations.

You will also:

Review and assess tender enquiries, producing compliant quotations within the CRM system.

Determine project requirements by analysing architects’ drawings, elevations, schedules, and NBS specifications.

Apply technical knowledge to recommend the most suitable product solutions to meet client requirements.

Ensure quotation pricing aligns with approved discount structures to maximise profitability.

Process customer orders within the system, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded to support a smooth handover to the Operations team.

Utilise construction databases to gather project information and identify competing tender bidders.

Skills and Experience Required

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working within a sales team in a customer-focused environment.

Possesses a strong estimating background and can confidently interpret architectural drawings, schedules, and specifications.

Is able to build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial customer relationships.

Has technical knowledge and understanding of integrated door or security systems equipment.

Works collaboratively with colleagues and contributes positively to overall team performance.
