We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join our clients manufacturing team in Clay Cross, Derbyshire.
Responsibilities
* Writing CNC programmes on XYZ/Fagor machine
* Continuing to learn and gain experience in the duties of Online Leak Sealing Technician, during daily field work and training sessions.
* Carry out CNC preparation works for custom parts in conjunction with system manuals.
* A commitment to quality at all stages of a project, including quality checking of materials.
* Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including (but not limited to), working in line with the company Health and Safety procedures, to ensure your own safety and the safety of those around you.
* Being prepared to work a reasonable amount of overtime as and when required to meet the company's commitment to our clients.
* To conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
* To carry out any reasonable task that may be requested by management.
* Properly uses and completes customer and company job-related forms and paperwork.
* Properly uses, cares for and maintains company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
* Communicates and deals with customers and other parties in such a manner as to benefit the professional reputation of the company.
* Working away on site all over the country from time to time.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
* A minimum of 1 years' experience in CNC programming/operation and previous knowledge of working with Fagor/XYZ controls systems.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD, Fusion 360 software is desirable.
* The ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* The ability to read and understand technical manuals.
* Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
* Excellent time management.
* Hardworking and motivated.
* Willing to work away from home from time to time.
* Comfortable with travel as part of their role (occasional overnights with travel allowance given)
* Full UK driving licence
Salary description
£14.00 - £16.00 per hour
