How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Our client, a leading UK residential developer, is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join its Group function in a newly created role with significant visibility and influence across the organisation.

    This is a rare opportunity to shape and develop a corporate compliance framework within a highly respected and well-established business operating across multiple regions throughout the UK and internationally.

    The organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality homes and communities while maintaining a people-focused and collaborative culture. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the business continue to uphold the highest ethical and regulatory standards across its operations.

    The Opportunity

    Reporting into senior leadership, the Compliance Manager will take ownership of key corporate compliance programmes and support the ongoing enhancement of policies, controls, processes and training across the Group.

    Key focus areas will include:

    * Anti-Bribery & Corruption

    * Anti-Money Laundering

    * Human Rights & Modern Slavery

    * Fraud Prevention

    * Competition Law

    This role offers broad exposure across Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, HR and operational business units, making it ideal for a commercially minded compliance professional who enjoys stakeholder engagement, influencing senior leaders and driving continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Support the identification and assessment of compliance risks across the Group alongside Risk and Internal Audit teams.

    * Enhance, draft and maintain compliance policies, procedures and controls to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

    * Design and implement compliance programmes and e-learning initiatives across key corporate risk areas.

    * Monitor compliance activity and prepare reporting for senior management and leadership teams.

    * Deliver engaging training and awareness programmes to foster a strong culture of ethics and compliance.

    * Provide practical advice on emerging legislation, regulatory developments and evolving compliance risks.

    * Partner with stakeholders across Group Functions and regional Business Units to ensure a coordinated and consistent compliance approach.

    * Act as a trusted point of contact for compliance-related matters across the organisation.

    * Drive continuous improvement through the use of data, technology and digital tools, including AI-enabled analysis and reporting.

    About You

    The successful candidate is likely to be a proactive and commercially aware compliance professional with experience operating within a large corporate or regulated environment.

    You will bring:

    * A degree in Law, Business, Compliance or a related discipline.

    * Professional qualifications such as ICA, IRM, IIA or similar are advantageous.

    * Proven experience within a senior compliance, risk or governance role.

    * Experience developing policy frameworks, controls and assurance processes.

    * Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at senior leadership and director level.

    * Strong working knowledge of corporate compliance and governance frameworks.

    * Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills.

    * A high level of integrity, attention to detail and commitment to ethical business practices.

    * The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Why Apply?

    This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading residential developers in a highly visible and business-critical role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and develop the compliance function from the ground up while working alongside senior leaders across the organisation.

    The business offers a collaborative culture, strong career development opportunities and a flexible approach to hybrid working
