How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Motor Vehicle Trainer (Full training provided)

    Middleton, Manchester

    Up to £35,000 + Full Training Provided + Excellent Benefits + 31 days holiday

    Are you an NVQ/IMI Level 3-qualified Motor Vehicle Technician?

    Do you want to step off the tools into a Monday-Friday, day-based role where you'll use your industry experience to develop the next generation of vehicle technicians?

    This leading training provider has invested heavily in its automotive training facilities and is known for delivering high-quality technical education. They work closely with major employers and are recognised for producing industry-ready, highly skilled technicians. They are also well known for supporting their staff, offering full training, professional development, and the opportunity to gain teaching and assessing qualifications, all fully funded.
    In this role, you'll work with learners at different stages of their apprenticeship journey, ensuring they receive the right coaching, support, and technical guidance to progress confidently into industry-ready roles.
    The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 3 or IMI level 3 and want to move into a trainer role.
    This is the perfect opportunity for a motor vehicle technician to move into a rewarding training role where you can make a real difference without the pressures of the workshop.

    The Role
    *Delivering training and support to apprentices at various stages (T1, T2, T3)
    *Full training and development provided
    *Teaching motor vehicle principles, diagnostics, and industry best practice
    *Helping learners become confident, competent, and work-ready technicians

    The Person
    *NVQ Level 3 or IMI Level 3 in Motor Vehicle
    *Strong background as a Vehicle Technician or Master Technician
    *Passion for developing people and sharing knowledge
    *Able to commute to Middleton (up to 1 hour travel)
