We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Plumber / Water Hygiene Remedial Operative to support a programme of remedial works across a large commercial contract. The role will involve carrying out post-risk assessment actions to ensure full compliance with water hygiene and Legionella control standards.
Your new role
Delivering Legionella and water hygiene remedial works in occupied and vacant buildings
Servicing, repairing, and replacing TMVs
Identifying and removing redundant pipework and dead legs
Carrying out pipework alterations and outlet replacements
Improving access to systems and installing isolation valves where required
Completing remedial works on cold water storage tanks
Addressing hot water return and circulation issues
Undertaking flushing and purging of water systemsWhat you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in plumbing and water hygiene remedial works
Strong understanding of Legionella control and water hygiene principles
Working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274 Part 2, and the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations
Ability to work independently across a large, multi-building estateWhat you'll get in return
