Regional Operations/ Projects Director – Overview

We are working with one of the UK’s leading technical and energy services providers who specialise in major decarbonisation and net zero solution projects within the commercial and public sector. They deliver decarbonisation projects up to £50million and above in value for sites such as Hospitals, Universities, Museums and many other complex live environments. They have a talented workforce of over 5,000 people and can offer development, progression and role with true autonomy.

They are currently seeking a Regional Projects/Operations Director to come on board in the West Midlands/Northwest. You will provide strategic leadership and oversight of a portfolio of major regional energy infrastructure and decarbonisation projects valued up to £50M. There is a distinct focus on NHS contracts, Public Authority sites and live environments with complex project needs. You will operate as a Senior leader within the business, carrying full accountability for ensuring the safe, compliant and high quality delivery of complex projects throughout the region.

You will hold full P&L ownership for regional operations, leading the end-to-end lifecycle from early design development through to construction, commissioning and handover. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape divisional priorities and influence the strategic growth of the business. You will lead and inspire a high performing multi-disciplinary regional team, while maintaining senior oversight of major subcontractors and delivery partners. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, you will drive effective governance, enhance delivery capability and ensure the successful execution of all projects within your region.

Regional Operations/ Projects Director – Requirements

* Proven experience operating at Director level within a Main/Principal Contractor environment

* Ability and experience delivering complex Design & Construction programmes across live environments

* Experience in Decarbonisation projects and energy performance contracting

* Proven commercial acumen with full P&L responsibility alongside a deep understanding of NEC and JCT contracts.

* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.

Regional Operations/ Projects Director – Salary & Remuneration

* Salary £120,000 - £150,000
