How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Core Responsibilities

    Acts as Senior Project Manager on large, complex and high‑risk projects, programmes or frameworks, either leading delivery or managing key components within a wider delivery team, ensuring outcomes are achieved to agreed time, cost and quality parameters.
    Leads and coordinates large, multi‑disciplinary project teams to meet objectives efficiently and effectively.
    Works closely with project teams to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and accurately reflected in project outputs.
    Holds accountability for commercial and financial performance, including cost control, forecasting and ensuring invoicing aligns with contractual arrangements.
    Manages day‑to‑day delivery across the full project, programme or framework lifecycle, ensuring schedules, outputs and milestones are achieved.
    Maintains clear, regular and effective communication with both clients and internal stakeholders.
    Prepares robust project estimates, budgets, programmes and delivery plans for both bids and live projects.
    Plans and prioritises own workload to meet agreed deadlines, proactively managing and communicating competing priorities.
    Contributes to the development and continuous improvement of tools, processes and ways of working to support effective project delivery.
    Ensures organisational standards, governance and quality requirements are implemented and consistently applied across assigned projects.
    Supports the development of less experienced team members through mentoring, coaching and day‑to‑day guidance.
    Contributes to business growth by building strong client relationships, promoting repeat work and delivering high levels of customer service.

    Skills, Experience and Qualifications

    Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environments.
    Demonstrable commercial awareness and financial management capability within a project delivery context.
    Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and manage client expectations.
    Track record of delivering projects successfully against commercial, performance and business objectives.
    Experience supervising, mentoring or developing junior team members.
    High level of learning agility, with a proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement.
    Extensive experience leading and delivering highly complex, multi‑disciplinary projects in a Senior Project Management role
