How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Immediate Start

    This role is working either DAYS and NIGHTS on a shift pattern Monday to Thursday and shifts can change each week.

    6.30am to 2.30pm and/or 10.30pm to 6.30am

    As a Production Operative you are a highly motivated team member, applying all safety and quality standards to support line teams in achieving goals.

    your role will be ensuring smooth running of the production line, by ensuring materials are loaded and health and safety along with house keeping is adhered to at all times.

    You are responsible for the quality of the product produced on your line being Right First Time

    Ensuring the safety of you and team members at all times through following the defined equipment operational standards and ensuring you are trained and actively following all standard procedures

    Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your own work.
    Support 100% Defect Elimination on Time
    Support Zero Housekeeping Outages
    Ensure clear understanding and compliance of all line and site quality proceduresFollow material movement and usage standards, and highlight and fix any issues before proceeding

    You are responsible with your team to deliver the PR targets by following the proven standards and continuously identifying and eliminating losses through the utilisation of appropriate systems and/ or tools.

    · Operate packing line processes to maximise results

    · Participate in changeovers, process product changes on line following defined standards.

    · Liaise with Team Leaders, Eng Techs and other team colleagues to complete actions that will improve the line results.

    · Contribute to an effective team-working environment in the day to day running of the line by establishing and maintaining productive working relationships

    · Ensure effective communication with oncoming shift at handover, completing any necessary job or task documentation accurately and legibly.

    · Provide feedback in a constructive way and encourage each other to promote success.

    · Provide or take part in any relevant formal or on the job training.

    · Take responsibility for identifying & communicating own personal training needs.

    · Effectively manage own time and resources to ensure work is completed with minimal loss and highlight any support needed.

    · Maintain effectiveness when experiencing changes to work tasks or the working environment and highlight any support needed.

    · Work collaboratively with your team leader to support a fully staffed and capable Packing Department

    Skills and Behaviours Required

    Demonstrate positive team behaviours by working with and motivating fellow team members towards achievement of common goals
    Support and be prepared to take daily direction from your team leader and process engineer whilst on shift.
    Be prepared to flow to the work when needed.

    Ability to effectively work with PC application (e.g.RTCIS)
