Coppersmith Recruitment are hiring on behalf of our client for a dedicated and motivated Cleaning Team Leader to join their industrial facility in Stretford. This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced factory environment.
The Offer
* Pay Rate: £13.36 per hour
* Shift Pattern: 4 Days On 4 Days Off
* Location: StretfordThe Role & Environment
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the site’s cleanliness by following the Master Cleaning Schedule and ensuring all staff adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Please Note: This role is based within a factory setting that can be a hot and dusty environment. For safety and operational integrity, full PPE must be worn at all times while on the factory floor, and personal mobile phones are not permitted in the factory area.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading, motivating, and giving clear directions to the cleaning team.
* Managing and prioritizing workloads effectively to meet site standards.
* Ensuring strict adherence to H&S protocols.
* Utilizing PC systems (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for reporting and scheduling.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience: Previous industrial cleaning experience is ideal, with proven experience in a Team Leader or similar supervisory role.
* Skills: Excellent communication, strong manual dexterity, and a proactive, "can-do" approach.
* Reliability: Exceptional attendance and timekeeping are non-negotiable.
* Tech Savvy: You must be PC literate (proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Vetting: You must have been continuously living in the UK for the previous 3 years, with no more than 3 months spent overseas at any one time during that period.
* Equipment: You must provide your own safety boots. All other PPE and uniforms will be provided by the site.
