The Purpose of the Role
You will be inheriting a book of business that you will be expected to service and grow but you will also have the opportunity to network and identify new business opportunities. Fostering non transactional client relationships is at the heart of the businesses values. This is a full time, permanent position based on the outskirts of York.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
* Develop excellent client relationships by getting under the skin of each and every client
* Negotiate with insurers to provide clients with the best solutions and value
* Work effectively with the wider team to ensure a smooth client experience
* Identify and develop new business opportunities by lead conversation, referrals and networking
* Stay up to date with new and existing products with in the markets
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Insurance industry experience (essential).
* Strong communication and relationship building skills
* Experience using Acturis
* Client centric approach
* Ideally, a Cert CII qualification (or willingness to work towards this).
* A team player
* A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach.
