ES Recruit are currently recruiting for experienced Structural Steel Platers on behalf of Newbridge Engineering based in Hartlepool.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing heavy engineering workshop working on large structural steel projects with long-term work available.
The Role
Plating and fabricating structural steel
Reading and working from engineering drawings
MIG welding for tacking and small fillet welds
Working within a heavy fabrication workshop
Using overhead cranes safely and efficiently
Pay Rates
£18.00 per hour PAYE
£23.20 per hour Umbrella/Ltd
Overtime Rates
Time and a half for evenings and Saturdays until 12pm
Double time after 12pm Saturday onwards
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday
07:30am - 5:00pm
Friday
07:30am - 4:00pm
30-minute unpaid break daily.
Requirements
Previous structural steel plating experience
Able to read engineering drawings
MIG welding experience for tacking and small fillets
Experience using overhead cranes
Reliable with a strong work ethic
