How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Maths Graduate Opportunity - Future Teacher Pathway

    Are you a recent Maths graduate considering a career in teaching? Do you want to become a qualified teacher through a SCITT programme while gaining valuable classroom experience first?

    Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting motivated and enthusiastic Maths Graduates to work within supportive secondary schools in the Corby area. This exciting graduate scheme is designed for aspiring teachers looking to gain practical school-based experience before progressing onto a School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) pathway leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

    This is an excellent opportunity to build confidence in the classroom, develop your teaching skills, and take the first step towards a rewarding teaching career.

    The Role:

    As a Maths Graduate, you will:

    Support students within Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

    Deliver targeted intervention sessions and small group support

    Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons

    Help improve student attainment, confidence, and engagement

    Support classroom management and student behaviour

    Gain first-hand experience within a secondary school setting

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    A degree in Mathematics or a related subject

    A genuine interest in becoming a qualified teacher

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Confidence working with secondary-aged students

    A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach

    Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or school experience is beneficial but not essential
