We are working with a professional sports organisation in the East Midlands looking for a Head of Partnerships. The Head of Partnerships is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth. The role will include the management of a team of Business Development Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with commercial
- objectives.
- Identify and target new partnership opportunities across key sectors.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, pitching, and negotiating commercial
- contracts.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective partners.
- Oversee the activation and delivery of partnership rights, ensuring all contractual obligations are
- met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, managing day-to-day relationships and
- resolving issues promptly.
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and events teams to deliver integrated campaigns
- and activations.
- Provide regular performance updates and insights to the CCO and senior leadership team.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales and delivery personnel.
- Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven track record of securing high-value partnerships, preferably within sports.
- Significant experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience managing complex contracts and stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

Salary: Circa £50k + OTE
