How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You'll be joining a highly skilled manufacturing team where every day brings something new. From hands‑on problem‑solving to supporting cutting‑edge product development, this role gives you the perfect platform to grow, learn, and make a real impact.

What's on offer for the Electronics Production Engineer:

    Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
A varied, technically stimulating role with plenty of support and development opportunities

    About the Role

As an Electronics Production Engineer, you'll play a key part in improving and supporting the manufacturing processes used to test and assemble electronic products. You'll help maintain production test capability, drive continuous improvement, and ensure products meet the highest quality standards.

You'll also get involved in investigating failures, analysing root causes, and helping shape the next generation of products through New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.

Responsibilities for the Electronics Production Engineer will include:

Designing, commissioning, and maintaining automated production test equipment
Working closely with R&D to define test requirements for new products
Creating test fixtures, jigs, and supporting production equipment
Ensuring test processes reliably verify product performance and quality
Analysing workflows and production layouts to boost efficiency
Producing clear documentation for build, test, and manufacturing processes
Defining rework and repair procedures for failed units
Supporting NPI and validating new manufacturing processes

Skills needed for the Electronics Production Engineer:

A Degree or HNC/HND in Electronics or a related field
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and PCB layouts
Some experience (academic or practical) in root‑cause analysis of electronic or PCBA failures

Graduates are strongly encouraged to apply - if you're enthusiastic, curious, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you
