How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Number 1 Site Manager - Retail Refit Project

    Location: North London

    Start Date: Monday 22nd June

    Duration: 8 Weeks

    Hours: 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday

    Project Value: £2m

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Lead Site Manager (No.1 on site) to oversee a high‑value refrigeration replacement and refit project within a live supermarket environment.

    This role requires a confident leader with strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a fast‑paced programme safely and effectively.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead day‑to‑day site operations on a live retail project

    Manage subcontractors, programme, H&S, and quality control

    Interpret and work confidently from technical drawings

    Ensure smooth delivery of refrigeration replacement and refit works

    Coordinate with client teams and internal stakeholders

    Maintain accurate site records and reporting (Procore experience essential)

    Support weekend or potential night works when required

    Required Certifications

    SMSTS

    CSCS Black or White Card

    Temporary Works

    First Aid at Work

    Candidate Background

    We are looking for someone who has:

    Strong experience delivering refrigeration replacement/refit projects

    Worked on live supermarket sites

    Proven track record as a Lead Site Manager

    Experience using Procore

    Excellent understanding of drawings and technical detail

    Ability to work in live, operational environments

    Flexibility to work weekends or nights if required

    Please note: This is not a small store‑refit role - experience on larger, complex retail projects is essential.

    Interview Process

    Stage 1: Teams interview with Senior Manager

    Induction: 9‑day preparation period before works commence
