Hybrid Working: Typically 3 days on-site

We're seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-integrity engineering solutions within a safety-critical environment. This is an opportunity to contribute to major projects that support national infrastructure, clean energy, and long-term sustainability.

The Role:

You'll lead the design, integration, and lifecycle support of EC&I systems across complex engineering programmes, ensuring compliance with strict regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver EC&I systems within regulated environments
Produce and review technical documentation, specifications, and safety case inputs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
Engage with clients, suppliers, and regulators to resolve technical challenges
Support coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement across project delivery

What We're Looking For:

Degree in Electrical, Control, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) preferred
Strong experience delivering EC&I systems in highly regulated industries
Knowledge of standards such as IEC 61508 and BS EN 61511
Proven ability to work across teams and manage technical interfaces

Security Requirements:

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC (Security Check) clearance
