We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Generator Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on generators up to 150kVA, covering Northampton and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities
As a Mobile Generator Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting maintenance, servicing, and repairs on generators up to 150kVA.
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
Performing routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance.
Responding to breakdowns and providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
Proven experience working with generators, ideally up to 150kVA.
Strong technical knowledge of generator systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
Full UK driving license.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Mobile Generator Engineer will involve:
Traveling to customer sites across Northampton and surrounding areas.
Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing of generators.
Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure minimal disruption to clients.
Liaising with customers to provide updates and recommendations.
Completing all necessary paperwork and reports accurately.
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless service delivery.
