How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Camberley, is looking for a Quality Technician to join the team.

    We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Technician to support the Quality Engineering team. This role is key to ensuring that products meet customer expectations and comply with industry and legislative standards while driving continuous improvement across production.

    £29,000-£36,000 DOE

    Monday – Thursday 07.30-16.00, and 07.30-13.30 on a Friday.

    Job Description

    Act as the main point of contact for quality issues on the shop floor across production areas.
    Maintain calibrated inspection equipment, including liaising with external providers and conducting internal calibration activities.
    Support the investigation and resolution of customer complaints, including corrective actions and feedback.
    Assist with supplier quality management processes.
    Review and maintain documented information.

    Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

    Experience in an engineering inspection or manufacturing environment
    Strong engineering knowledge, including the ability to read technical drawings
    Ideal for someone who is happy to do a 50/50 office and hands on role
    Experience using measuring equipment
    Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
