We are currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Urmston, working within the EYFS setting. This is a long-term opportunity starting in September 2026, ideal for someone who thrives in early years and enjoys supporting children at the very start of their school journey. 🌱

✨ The Role:

* 👶 Support teaching and learning within an EYFS classroom

* 🔤 Confidently support phonics delivery (e.g. Read Write Inc or similar)

* 👥 Lead small group interventions when required

* 🧸 Help with daily routines, transitions, and settling children into school life

* 🎨 Create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment

* 🤝 Work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team

🌈 The Ideal Candidate:

* 🎓 Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

* 📚 Strong experience within EYFS (Nursery or Reception)

* 🔤 Confident supporting phonics and early reading development

* 💕 Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach

* 🗣️ Strong communication and teamwork skills

* 🌟 Able to use initiative and lead small groups effectively
