How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the retail, industrial, logistics, office, and education sectors.

You’ll take a lead role in developing and coordinating detailed construction packages, overseeing projects through to site delivery, and ensuring quality at every stage. This is a client-facing role where strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills are essential.

    What you’ll do

Lead commercial projects from early concept through to completion (RIBA Work Stages 1–6).

Produce and coordinate planning, tender, and construction information packages.

Work directly with clients, consultants, and project teams, both in-office and on-site.

Manage project deadlines, lead meetings, and ensure smooth delivery of information.

Apply in-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes.

Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop to develop high-quality outputs.

Mentor and support colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Represent the practice at industry events and client meetings.

    What they’re looking for

RIBA Part 3 / ARB qualified Architect, or MCIAT Technologist.

Minimum 8+ years post-qualification experience delivering complex commercial projects.

Proven track record in commercial architecture (retail, industrial, logistics, office, education).

Strong technical design expertise and understanding of building regulations.

Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Experience managing projects independently as well as working within a team.

Ability to coordinate consultant information, resolve design issues, and produce clear documentation.

    Why join them?

Opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial projects with an established client base.

Join a collaborative and supportive team with room for professional growth.

Hybrid client interaction—office-based, remote meetings, and on-site involvement.

    Competitive salary and benefits package.

Chance to make an impact in a growing, forward-thinking architectural practice
