About the Opportunity
A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Northampton is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This role sits at the start of Key Stage 2, offering the chance to guide pupils through an important stage in their learning as they build on prior knowledge and develop greater independence.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Support pupils' academic progress across core and foundation subjects
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Manage behaviour effectively, promoting a respectful and focused atmosphere
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
Build strong relationships with pupils and parents/carers
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and effective teaching practice
Is organised, proactive, and reflective in their approach
Has excellent classroom management skills
Is committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
Works well as part of a team and contributes to school life
