Are you a patient and resilient Behaviour Mentor who is passionate about supporting young people to make positive choices?
Schools in Dudley and GSL Education are hiring a motivated Behaviour Mentor to provide consistent pastoral and behavioural support to pupils.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who may face behavioural or emotional challenges that impact their learning. You will help create a calm, structured, and supportive environment where pupils feel understood and encouraged to engage positively in school life.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring support.
Support pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement.
Implement behaviour strategies and support plans.
Assist students during lessons and unstructured times.
Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young people or in behaviour support roles.
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
A calm, consistent, and supportive approach.
Ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
