How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Drama Teacher – Secondary School
    Location: Borough of Hillingdon, West London
    Full time contract until end of the academic year possibly extended for next
    Ongoing Contract May half term StartA warm and well-organised Secondary school located in the borough of Hillingdon is seeking a Drama Teacher to join their team from June 1st until end of the academic year. The school are open to ECTs or teachers with more experience.

    The Role

    The school is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, and dedicated Drama Teacher with a passion for the subject and the ability to engage and inspire students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 ensuring that all students make excellent progress and develop a love for Religious Education.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
    Assessing, tracking, and recording pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
    Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
    Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Performing arts
    Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.The School:
