Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £36k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected and successful Water Hygiene / Water Treatment outfit. They are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Engineer, with a diverse skillset and professional manner. This is a role which will cover a range of regional contracts and will not include London travel. It would be advantageous for applicants to hold experience working across Healthcare and Local Authority premises. You will be conducting a variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties, including: TMV servicing, showerhead descales and tank inspections. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: overtime, company vehicle and pension scheme.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

* Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines

* Ideally will have experience working in line with HTM 0301 guidelines

* Comfortable liaising with clients directly

* Excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills

* Professional manner

The Role:

* TMV servicing

* Showerhead descales

* Flushing of little used outlets

* Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks

* Chlorinations

* Calorifier inspections

* Producing regular service reports

* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
