Sen Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support within a specialist SEN school based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and are looking for a long-term role starting in September within a supportive environment.

The role will involve supporting pupils with non-verbal Autism and complex needs on both a 1:1 and 2:1 basis. Personal care may be required where needed.

Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 16:30
Friday: 08:30 – 12:30

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within SEN schools
• Experience supporting children with Autism and complex needs
• Confident working within 1:1 and 2:1 settings
• Makaton experience desirable
• CPI, Team Teach or equivalent training desirable
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach

This position is initially temporary with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
