Pertemps Isle of Wight are currently recruiting for Food Production Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced production environment on behalf of our client in Ryde.
If you have experience working with food, enjoy being on your feet, and take pride in delivering high-quality work, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Duties will include:
Preparing and packing orders for wholesale customers across the Isle of Wight
Sealing, labelling, and packing products accurately and efficiently
Producing high volumes of sandwiches, toasties, rolls, hot dogs, and wraps to specification
Following instructions from the team leader
Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
Maintaining consistent speed and quality of work
Adhering to strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Keeping the work area clean and organised at all times
The ideal candidate will:
Be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods
Thrive in a busy, hands-on environment
Have good attention to detail
Be reliable and punctual
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
