Contracts Manager

We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking engineering services company to assist them in hiring a Contract Manager for their growing team in Aberdeen.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to join a dynamic organisation delivering complex projects across the energy sector. The role offers exposure to high-value contracts and the chance to play a key part in supporting commercial success and risk management.

As the Contract Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Managing the full contract lifecycle from tender through to close-out
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client and subcontractor agreements
* Identifying and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
* Supporting project teams with contractual advice and guidance
* Managing variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes
* Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

* Proven experience in contract management within engineering, energy, or construction sectors
* Strong knowledge of contract frameworks such as NEC, FIDIC, or similar
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Solid understanding of commercial risk and compliance
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
