How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SEN Teacher – Primary School
    Location: Enfield, London
    Salary: £37,870 – £50,474 per annum (M1 – M6)
    Job Type: Full Time, Permanent | Term Time Only
    Start Date: September 2026
    Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary applies to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to U3.

    A vibrant and ambitious two-form entry primary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The school is currently developing a new SEN provision (soft hub) to provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, making this an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping inclusive practice.

    This is a supportive school with excellent behaviour, high expectations for all pupils, and a strong commitment to helping children become curious, confident, and resilient learners.

    The Role
    • Lead teaching within a dedicated SEN provision supporting pupils with additional needs
    • Plan and deliver tailored, engaging lessons to meet a range of SEN requirements
    • Work closely with class teachers, support staff, and external professionals
    • Monitor progress and implement effective interventions
    • Contribute to the development and success of the schools new SEN hub

    Requirements
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    • Proven experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
    • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and interventions
    • Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
    • Passion for supporting SEN pupils and promoting inclusive education
