How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Role of the Maintenance Team Leader

    We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join a large, heavy industrial manufacturing site. This is a hands-on leadership role within a high-performing engineering department, responsible for driving maintenance standards, improving reliability, and leading a team of engineers in a demanding industrial environment.

    You will lead from the front, ensuring all planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive, and breakdown activities are carried out efficiently to maximise plant uptime and operational performance. This role requires strong technical ability combined with the confidence to manage, motivate, and develop a team on shift. This is a hands on Leadership role.

    Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Team Leader

    Strong background in reactive and planned maintenance within a fast-paced factory.
    Multi Skilled Background 
    Engineering Qualification
    Essential Requirements for the Maintenance Team Leader

    Hands-on electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding experience.
    Proven maintenance experience within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
    Experience leading or supervising a team of engineers on shift.
    Experience managing PPM schedules and driving continuous improvement.
    Strong understanding of health & safety regulations within industrial environments.
    Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Team Leader

    Experience working within heavy industry or an FMCG environment
    Experience working as a Maintenance Team Leader in the UK.
    Continuous improvement or reliability project experience.
