We are seeking experienced LV (Low Voltage) Commissioning Engineers to support projects on the AWE Burghfield site. This is a highly secure environment, requiring DV Clearance, where you will play a key role in the commissioning and validation of electrical systems on critical infrastructure projects.
Job Responsibilities:
* Carry out commissioning activities on LV electrical systems in line with project specifications
* Perform functional testing, fault finding, and validation of installed systems
* Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and commissioning documentation
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with site safety standards and procedures
* Produce commissioning reports and documentation to a high standard
* Liaise with project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and clients on-site
* Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during commissioning phases
Experience Required:
* Proven experience as an LV Commissioning Engineer
* Current DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance – essential
* Previous experience working on AWE sites (Burghfield/Aldermaston) – highly desirable
* Strong understanding of LV electrical systems, panels, and distribution
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
* Experience working within highly regulated or secure environments
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance

£600.00 - £650.00 per day
