Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Door Fitter / Joiner to carry out installation of internal and external doors on site. This role is focused purely on fitting, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
7:30am – 4:00pm
1-hour break
Overtime available (paid at 1.5x rate, subject to agreement)
Bank Holiday work is rare
Pay:
£14.00 – £19.20 per hour (depending on skill and experience)
Overtime paid at 1.5x rate
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, prepare, and install doors
Fit hinges, handles, locks, and other ironmongery
Ensure accurate fitting and high-quality finish
Work from drawings and site specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
Proven experience in door fitting/joinery (installation only)
Good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team
Reliable and punctual
Own transport preferred (or ability to get to site)
