How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This particular venue is a characterful, heritage property — a busy and well-loved destination that prides itself on a warm, welcoming atmosphere, a seasonally changing menu and a carefully curated drinks list. The team is friendly, energetic, and genuinely passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.

    The role

    As Restaurant Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of this popular venue, playing a pivotal role in leading and developing a talented front-of-house team. Working closely with the wider management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the very highest standards of service and guest satisfaction consistently delighting customers on every visit

    Key responsibilities

    Lead, develop and inspire the team, recognising and realising individual potential through effective motivation and coaching
    Ensure the highest standards of guest experience and service excellence are upheld at all times
    Collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement across all areas of operation
    Champion new ideas and bring innovation to the venue's offering and guest journey
    What we're looking for

    A proven background in hospitality management, with experience leading a team in a high-volume, guest-focused environment
    Strong leadership skills with the ability to genuinely inspire and motivate others
    Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with the confidence to work across a variety of operational settings
    A hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach with a thorough understanding of front-of-house operations
