How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Stores Coordinator

    Up to £28,000pa d.o.e, 31 days holiday, M-F 8am-4.30pm, Pension, Training, Parking

    Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, a head office location of a global manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for a Stores Coordinator with a strong administrative backbone to take ownership of our warehouse systems, stock control processes, and day‑to‑day coordination to join them. You will provide support to the Spare Manager and Field Service Engineer Team, as well as production:

    Managing all warehouse administration, including goods‑in documentation, stock records, delivery notes, and system updates
    Maintaining accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and system checks
    Coordinating stock movements, ensuring all transactions are logged and traceable
    Preparing reports, updating databases, and supporting audits with clean, reliable data
    Liaising with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to keep information flowing smoothly
    Supporting warehouse operations with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
    Operating a Counterbalance FLT Truck when required
    This role has a twist, the Stores Coordinator will take 70% of your working week, the other 30% of the week will be providing odd job maintenance support to the site

    We would expect the successful Stores Coordinator to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, and the ideal candidate will be knowledge of SAP, be an excellent communicator and enjoy an versatile job role. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures, valid Counterbalance FLT Licence . This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within Warehouse Administration, Parts Administration or a Supply Chain Administration position.

    You will be joining the Kettering Head Office of a company that has been established for over 50 years with an enviable reputation in their field of manufacturing. Working directly with the Stores Manager, this role offers variety on a daily basis. The organisation name is synonymous with delivering outstanding products and services and are keen to recruit an Stores Coordinator who strives to offer the same.
