How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes and facilities for advanced product assembly.
This role focuses on designing, implementing and improving processes, tooling and automation solutions to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality production. You will play a key part in shaping manufacturing capability from early concept through to full production, working across multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced engineering environment.

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing manufacturing processes for assembly and test operations.
Designing and validating jigs, fixtures and tooling to support production.
Supporting the integration of automation systems, including robotics and control systems.
Working with internal teams and suppliers to procure and commission equipment and tooling.
Ensuring processes meet quality, cost and performance targets.
Supporting manufacturing activities through early build phases and into production.
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will have:

3-5 years' experience in a process engineering role within a low to medium volume assembly environment.
Experience in low‑volume process engineering and development, ideally within battery or advanced product manufacturing.
Strong CAD capability (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor) for fixture and tooling design.
Practical experience designing and integrating automation and control systems.
Strong understanding of precision assembly, process control, testing requirements and layout flow.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD and relevant simulation or engineering tools.
If you are a Manufacturing Process Engineer who enjoys developing practical manufacturing solutions, working with evolving technologies and supporting complex build environments, we'd love to hear from you.
