What does a Cover Supervisor do?
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher and ensure students remain engaged and on task.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supervising pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
Delivering instructions clearly and confidently
Supporting students with their work (no planning or marking required)
Reporting back to the school on lesson outcomes
You won’t be expected to teach new content, just to lead the class and keep learning on track.
