Working hours : Monday to Friday – Variable (40 hours per week) 11am or 12pm start time with a finish time of 7pm or 8pm.

About the role: Duties include:
* Take control of freight movement within the section.
* Ensure the next day freight is handled accordingly.
* Report any issues to the Supervisor.
* Ensuring quality of load & transhipment of freight through the hub to its destination whether to place into a bay location or to place on to a waiting vehicle or standing trailer.
* Performing routine pre inspections to ensure equipment is suitable for use.
* Ensuring the reporting of noncompliance/accidents/near misses/abuse/intimidation etc.
* To provide information and to communicate with customer vehicle drivers, when the need arises.
* Ensure reports have been compiled for damaged product/poorly presented vehicle/site damage and equipment damage etc.
* And any other duties as and when required.
