How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Salter Grange is currently recruiting a Mechanical Construction Manager for one of Europe's most prestigious data centre builders. They are a Main contractor leading the way in innovation and sustainability in the Data Centre world.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Construction Manager to enter the Data Centre sector. We are open to candidates' backgrounds, but ideally, you will be exposed to large projects such as industrial, Aviation, healthcare, pharma, or Commercial Experience.

    Please note that you would be employed under the host country's employment law. On offer is a competitive salary + Accommodation + flights + travel + bonus

    Mechanical Construction Manager Responsibilities:

    * Working directly with project teams to define project requirements and develop technical solutions. Provide off-site technical support to construction teams on projects, with travel to sites also required

    * Develop and agree on design processes and design deliverables

    * Assist in the continual improvement of the QA System and execute project reviews

    * Provide technical support to the estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing and project bid teams

    * Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information, including design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc.

    Mechanical Construction Manager Requirements:

    * Ideally, 5+ years’ previous experience managing large projects and sub-contractors.

    * Experience of client, vendor and contractor interaction and management

    * In-depth knowledge of all data centre mechanical systems.

    * Must have the right to work in Europe / Visa / EU Passport
