How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Quality Technician to ensure product quality across both supplier and internal production processes. The Quality Technician will take responsibility for managing supplier quality, handling returns, and liaising directly with suppliers to resolve any issues.

    Within production, the Quality Technician will carry out hourly checks, monitor product standards, and maintain strong communication with operators, team leaders, and management to ensure consistent quality. The role also involves supporting audits, inspections, and training delivery to maintain compliance with required standards.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Performing inspection activities, including CMM use (training provided)

    * Completing quality documentation such as SOPs and analysis sheets

    * Conducting internal and product audits against industry standards

    * Ensuring correct labelling and adherence to production parameters

    * Supporting customers with quality and packaging concerns

    * Delivering training to production staff as required

    * Escalating issues and stopping production when quality is compromised

    * Supporting 5S and basic TPM activities

    * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

    Skills & Experience:

    * Experience in a manufacturing or quality-based role

    * Strong attention to detail

    * Good interpersonal and communication skills

    * Ability to work both independently and within a team

    * Understanding of quality processes and standards (training provided where needed)
