How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Excellent role on offer for a Firmware Engineer looking to work for a world leading company where you will be trained extensively in new age software and products helping you to further develop your career.

    Are you a Firmware Engineer looking to progress your career? Would you like to train in FPGA whilst working for a global leading company?

    This leading business are experts in the design and manufacture of precision systems for a range of highly specialist industries. Due to their continued growth and heavy workload, they are now looking for a Firmware Engineer to join their expert team.

    In this role you will play a key technical role in the development of new products for a range of exciting projects. You will be involved across the full development lifecycle, from requirements capture and design through to verification, integration, and delivery, taking ownership of technical solutions while ensuring work is completed to budget and schedule. You will be provided with extensive training to become an expert in FPGA.

    This role would therefore suit an individual from a firmware development background who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to train in FPGA and work for a global leading company.

    The Role:

    Develop new products for exciting projects.
    Lead firmware design activities from concept to delivery.
    Own technical solutions, budgets, and schedules.
